What do we mean by mentoring?

The mentoring provided by Care INC is (typically) short-term, goal oriented mentoring geared toward developing a life skill (like budgeting) or accomplishing a goal (such as creating an updated resume or applying to college).

Clients may contact Care INC directly or be referred through agencies such as St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, Solutions Center, and area churches.  Clients are expected to set goals and work toward accomplishing those goals in an agreed upon time frame.

Mentoring is provided at no cost, and clients meet on a schedule that is agreed upon by the mentor and mentee together.
