{"id":294,"date":"2019-03-20T19:29:59","date_gmt":"2019-03-20T19:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fdlcareinc.org\/?page_id=294"},"modified":"2023-12-29T14:44:48","modified_gmt":"2023-12-29T14:44:48","slug":"294-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fdlcareinc.org\/","title":{"rendered":"About Care INC"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #000000;\">About Care In the Name of Christ (aka Care INC)<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Care<\/span><\/strong> <strong style=\"color: #000000;\">I<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">n the <\/span><strong style=\"color: #000000;\">N<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">ame of <\/span><strong style=\"color: #000000;\">C<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">hrist is a Christ-honoring, 501(c)(3) non-profit collaborative effort of individuals, churches, and service agencies from throughout the Fond du Lac area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Do not withhold good from those who need it, when you have the ability to help.<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Proverbs 3:27<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Our mission:<\/strong>\u00a0to bridge the gap for people facing emergency and difficult life situations, while demonstrating God\u2019s love, grace, and plan for salvation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Core Values<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Empower and assist people in meeting their own needs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Utilize the gifts and talents of the Fond du Lac Community (individuals, agencies and churches) in assisting those in need.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Deepen our skills and abilities to serve those in need<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Invite people to a closer walk with God<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Be witness to God\u2019s love as Christian communities working together<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>What do we do?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Care INC offers two primary services to the community:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Resource Connections:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2013 we direct clients to local resources that can help meet their needs<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Resource Discovery:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2013 we seek local resources that can help meet needs that cannot be met by other local resources<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Care INC also provides support to partner churches<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By connecting the skills and resources of the people in our congregations with needs in the community<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By working to boost the effectiveness and efficiency of our community outreach by avoiding duplication and competition among resource providers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By working to identify and address needs that are unmet by current ministries and agencies, and working collaboratively to meet them, to the extent we can.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By providing methods for churches and agencies to share information on the ways we are assisting in the community.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Who is Care INC?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Care INC is supported by many volunteers; from our referral help network, to our church representatives as well as those from local agencies.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Care In the Name of Christ (aka Care INC) Care In the Name of Christ is a Christ-honoring, 501(c)(3) non-profit collaborative effort of individuals, churches, and service agencies from throughout the Fond du Lac area.\u00a0 Do not withhold good from those who need it, when you have the ability to help.
